Intuition Intuition is the part of our unconscious mind that speaks to us. It knows things about our life and future even when we don’t want to acknowledge them. Intuition is so many things. Intuition is your best friend in this life. It is a part of your mind and being. Intuition can also be your higher power, guardian angels and God talking to you and protecting you. When your intuition speaks to you its good to pay attention. If you are feeling confused about which path to take in life, the answers that you seek are all inside of you. All you have to do is take the time to listen. Intuition knows what is best for you. If you learn to hear its voice and listen you will hear its gentle whispers guiding you onto the right path in this life. Sometimes when we get involved with negative people they distract us from listening to our intuition and doing what is good for us. They do this out of ignorance and selfishness. Its always best to move away from anyone that tries to confuse you about what your intuition is telling you. Positive good people will always encourage you to go with your instincts, not ignore them. By developing a strong mind and a strong sense of self we naturally are able to hear our intuition. I am not a religious person, but I do believe that intuition guides us to make good life choices and it helps our mind and body to be in harmony with the intentions of our creator. I think this is why God gave all human beings strong intuition. Although we may not realize it, intuition is there just waiting to be developed and used to help us reach our goals in this life. Some simple ways to get in touch with your intuition are: 1. Spend quiet time alone each day. If you can spend time in nature, that is the best as it will help you to hear intuition strongly. Eliminate distractions so that you can feel what is going on inside your mind and body. 2. Mentally ask yourself what you want and need. Write down what you think and feel in a journal. Journals are extremely helpful to relieve stress and achieve life goals. 3. Allow your mind to wander during this time. The best solutions, positive ideas, answers all come from a relaxed state. Resting or taking a nap for a period of time each day, will help you rejuvenate your mind and body. Naps also help the mind to hear what the intuition is saying. 4. Don't try and force intuition. Like sleep, it comes from a relaxed state and cannot be forced. 5. Pay attention when you hear that voice coming from within. Do not ignore or discount what it is trying to tell you. Human beings are made with a built in intuition system to help, protect and guide us through life. Intuition can be a powerful force to guide us to our goals as well as what is good for us. It can also help to steer us away from things that will hurt us.
